Uncovering Company Culture: Asha’s Story
Asha has been through the wringer recently in her career. Two years ago she left a toxic work environment filled with micromanaging, distrust, and snarky comments. When she landed her next accounting job at another company, she felt a big burden was off her shoulders. However, six months after she started, the company was bought by a bigger organization and the culture changed for the worse.
Asha is ready to find another job but she’s really stressed out about finding the right culture fit for her. How can she find a company that respects her as a parent and as a professional and offers her opportunity for growth? Ideally she’d like to stay at the next company for five or more years, but it needs to be the correct environment for her.
